The Detroit Pistons reached agreement on a two-year, $8.3 million deal with forward Glenn Robinson III on Sunday, according to multiple reports.Robinson spent the past three seasons with the Indiana Pacers. He has career averages of 4.4 points and 2.3 rebounds over four NBA campaigns.Robinson, 24, averaged a career-best 6.1 points in 69 games (27 starts) during the 2016-17 season. Last season, he averaged 4.1 points and was limited to 23 games (one start) after undergoing left ankle surgery for an injury he suffered during training camp.Robinson was a second-round selection in the 2014 draft by the Minnesota Timberwolves. He split his rookie season between the Timberwolves and Philadelphia 76ers.Joining the Pistons brings Robinson back to the state in which he played college basketball. Robinson started 76 games in two seasons at Michigan with a 12.0 career scoring average. He averaged 11.0 points and 5.4 rebounds as a freshman and 13.1 points and 4.4 rebounds as a sophomore.
